God over the past months has driven me to be increasingly convicted over the stigma of being considered sane in today's world. I took a brief sabbatical from my wife's company and flew to Indianapolis, Indiana to request submission for mental health observation and treatment. At the facility much time of necessity involved watching television. Patients could not control the TV. For hours on end we were obligated to hear the canned laughter emanating from LAFF programming (which presented laughter without joy); or GRIT western programming (which presented mayhem without pain).
I return with confidence that I am fully capable of being a dutiful American citizen.
