I love Donald Trump. He is the Zorba of today's political season. Zorba's–even though they scoff at subtle matters like setting tone–are masters at it. The heart of the matter is that the Zorba's of life bring a certain freedom to the debate especially when it has come to be hemmed in by practitioners of verbal manipulation masquerading as self-appointed pontificates of correctness (avoidance). The truth is their plodding cant is merely dull and lethally fatal to honesty and the creative process. I celebrate Donald's fictional excesses even if The Trump should skewer the likes of me as an Abject Loser. Trump said that tone doesn't matter, only results matter. If this is so, why is his number one effectuated goal the changing of tone–or, as is often said, Trump takes up all the oxygen in the room.
