I sometimes find it very difficult on the speeding thoroughfares of life to discern who is a certified Christian. The informal religious test Jesus suggests we use is this: "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” That is, there is no framed and mounted certification of membership that proves willy-nilly whether anyone is a Christian. In fact, most have come to appreciate that certification in any field doesn't mean a whole lot--a lot of "accidents waiting to happen" can hold certifications.
So therefore the only reliable test is a practical one--does one live by the disciplines of love in various and sundry environments? A lot of people repulsed by religion and religiosity perform well on life's endless series of driver pop quizzes. Religion in many ways is irrelevant to the reality of belief.
