A
great discipline of love is patience. It has been my experience that
if you want something to happen now, well you may have to wait a long
time—even years. The older I get the more I’m at home with this.
You would think at near 70 I would be fidgeting with a bucket list.
Well, I have lived a full life and have no feelings of emptiness.
Rather my life has been filled with blessings—even those I received
today have incalculable value. So why do I listen to the music clip
below. Maybe because I know those days when I felt transcendental
pressure are long over—no “time bonds” now—they all have been
safely defused. I rest secure in tranquility and peace. The
intimations of immortality are palpable.
