Could mankind be so naïve as to think God does not intercede constantly in the life of the world? Do we really think a migrating bird flies thousands of miles with a brain the size of a pea and gets to exactly the right place at exactly the right time? My friends, this is an intercession of God. (If you believe that this is not so, impair the telemetry of the bird with alcohol and see for yourself.)
Now
as to the weather, God is not a mean God but he cannot prevent the
despoiling of the world with man’s pollution. Again please heed my
plea and come clean regarding all matters, especially regarding sex.
You say, this guy has an obsession here. Not so. Think about it. If
one is dishonest about something so real and vital, how might this
lead to general decay and effect energy conflagrations far beyond
man’s detection, control or calculation. Surely as a result the
innocent methodically suffer. What God expects of us is a little
humility, trust, and faith. The proof will be in the pudding if only
mankind would accept the challenge.
If
we play by God’s rules regarding creativity and honesty, then
inconceivable progress can be made on all fronts. You will be
utterly amazed at the rapidity of improvement. God will have his way
in the end—that’s for certain. Wouldn’t it be grand to be on
his team and emerge now from the long line of human suffering into
broad sunlit uplands?
